The central medical hub for the Amsterdam region
Go Leaner Amstelveen is our main clinic and the medical hub of our GLP-1 weight-loss programme for the Amsterdam region. The clinic is at Escapade 1, right next to the Stadshart Amstelveen shopping centre and a few minutes' drive from the Amstelveen-Ouderkerk junction (A9). Patients from Amstelveen, Amsterdam-Zuid, Buitenveldert, Uithoorn and Ouderkerk aan de Amstel choose this location for its easy access and free parking right outside the door.
Your first in-person intake, blood tests and body scan take place in our consulting rooms. A BIG-registered doctor reviews your medical history, BMI and lab results before any prescription for semaglutide or tirzepatide is issued. Monthly check-ups, dose adjustments and maintenance consultations can then take place at this location or via secure video consultation.
The practice is fully equipped for outpatient metabolic care: a private consulting room, a blood-draw room with refrigerated sample handling and a separate room for the body scan and bio-impedance measurement. The entrance is at street level and the clinic is wheelchair accessible. Consultations are also available in English.

How do I get to Go Leaner Amstelveen?+
By car via the A9 (exit S108 Buitenveldertselaan or S109 Van Boshuizenstraat) towards Amstelveen — around 5 minutes further to Escapade 1. By public transport: metro line 51 to Amstelveen Stadshart (10-minute walk) or bus 199 directly to the Escapade stop.
Is there parking at the clinic?+
Yes. There is free parking right outside the door, also for longer consultations. No parking disc or fee is required during opening hours.
What are the opening hours?+
Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 18:00 and Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00. Closed on Sunday. Consultations are by appointment via your dashboard or by calling +31 85 007 4569.
Which treatments take place in Amstelveen?+
In-person intake with a BIG-registered doctor, full screening blood panel (HbA1c, glucose, kidney, liver, thyroid and lipid panel), body scan and bio-impedance measurement, monthly follow-up consultations and titration of semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy) or tirzepatide (Mounjaro).
Is the clinic wheelchair accessible?+
Yes. The entrance is at street level and all treatment rooms are on the ground floor. An accessible toilet is available.
Do I need a referral from my GP?+
No, you do not need a referral letter for a GLP-1 programme at Go Leaner. You start with the online questionnaire yourself; we then invite you for an in-person intake with a BIG-registered doctor.
Is the treatment covered by my health insurance?+
GLP-1 medication for obesity is not covered by Dutch basic health insurance (basisverzekering). The cost of the blood tests does count towards your deductible (eigen risico). See /prijzen for exact prices and what is and isn't included.
